Please join us at our 47th Annual Conference, held virtually November 7-9, 2025. Dr. Ellen Braaten's keynote will explore the issue of kids who are unmotivated from different vantage points, starting with identifying the problem -- why is it that so many kids don’t seem to care about anything these days? Dr. Braaten will also discuss the factors that apply to children’s motivation – their abilities, the things that give them pleasure, and the things they spend time doing- using the Motivational APP, which stands for aptitude, pleasure, and practice.. In addition, we promise to offer quality breakout sessions on topics such as executive functioning, twice-exceptional, social-emotional, intervention techniques, and case studies.

This year’s event will again be hosted virtually. We encourage educational therapists, parents, and allied professionals, including, but not limited to:

  • clinical psychologists
  • licensed clinical social workers
  • marriage and family therapists
  • educational psychologists
  • speech-language pathologists
  • occupational therapists
  • school or learning center directors

Attendees experience quality professional development, networking, and shared learning experiences.
